An artwork to represents reconciliation week & the theme this year #morethenaword, a time to celebrate respectful relationships between first nation people's and other Australians!

The hands represent everyone building a stronger relationship together sitting around in a meeting place listening and acknowledging our history & resilience. The sun our source of life, the sandhills that fill our country, gum leaves to represent land we are on, the river flowing to represent no matter where we come from along that water bank, we all connect, we all live from mother earth!

Material - Plywood & Pine Stand

As with all natural timbers, there is knots and colour variances as per the natural grain. This is not considered a flaw and adds to the character and charm of the piece.
