Emu Puzzle

Our handmade Emu Puzzle is more than just a toy.

It is a hands-on learning piece designed to support early learning through play. As children place the Emu pieces into position, they begin to recognise the animal and learn about its importance to Aboriginal people.

For generations, Aboriginal people have used Emu as a source of food, clothing, tools, and materials, always with care and respect for Country. This puzzle helps start gentle conversations about where things come from and the importance of caring for animals and the environment.

This engaging activity supports the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration, making learning both fun and meaningful.

As with all natural timbers, each piece may feature knots and natural colour variations. These are not considered flaws but part of the unique character and charm of every handmade puzzle.
